Are there other areas to stay besides GK proper?

Yes. The name “GK” can sometimes be deceiving, because there are surrounding communities that are also great for students, such as Gidan Mangaro, Dama, and Talba Road. These are all conducive areas to live, but if you want to be as close to the school gate as possible, you should secure a place directly in Gidan Kwano — what students call living “front of school”.
